We found a very informative and accommodating guide while on the island.
Agxpito C. Bahala Jr. pronounced: "Agapito" took us to see all the
tourist attractions and more. Including a local cockfight competition. He was so
helpful that I was able to let him place my bets for me. Simply pointed at the
rooster I thought would win and told him how much. The residents are so kind and
honest that even at this type of a event, my friend had left his digital video
camera on a table outside the arena, we had all but sitting in our seat and the
fights about to start with hundreds of people bustling about when we realized my
friend had forgotten the camera. Just then local citizens were approaching with
the camera to return it to him. They even allowed us to video the cock fights.
